Day 60
My choices between a school for 2D animation is CapU and
VFS, as both are well renown for their high employment out of graduation as well
as their proximity from my parent’s home. While a 2 hours bus ride would be
annoying, I could just get my license and both reduce the over all cost, and the
time to get to classes. While other schools are closer, I have not even heard
of their presence in the industry and I know they aren’t as well equipped as CapU
and VFS in both industry equipment and people who actively work in it.
I plan on going to CapU’s open house about their Film & Animation, so I get a more in-depth look at what they provide as in-class resources, and what I would have to bring into classes as well as what I could take away from them.
On top of that, costs also apply, I could go to CapU for a higher price, 2 years and additional classes. Or VFS unique one-year model, but cheaper tuition and a single class to focus on.
It’s a
hard decision that I will make, but depending on when VFS’ next open house is,
and what I learn in CapU’s, it will help me decide.
